Neurorehabilitation after stroke and multiple sclerosis
recoveriX ist eine Gehirn-Computer- die motorischen Fähigkeiten der oberen und unteren Extremitäten bei Menschen zu verbessern, die Schlaganfälle erlitten haben oder an Multipler Sklerose leiden.
If your ability to move is impaired by a stroke, multiple sclerosis or traumatic brain injury, you do not necessarily lose it! For this reason, g.tec medical engineering has developed "recoveriX", a unique rehabilitation approach based on brain-computer interface technology that helps the brain to reconnect.
While recoveriX asks the user to imagine a hand or foot movement, it provides real-time feedback through muscle stimulation and visual simulation. This process induces neuroplasticity in the brain and helps to relearn lost motor functions.
recoveriX helps stroke or multiple sclerosis patients to reduce pain, spasticity and tremor, leading to further improvements in motor function, concentration, passive joint movements, sensitivity, bladder control, sexual function, balance, gait and numbness of the face, body or extremities. Most notably, patients experience less fatigue and less foot stiffness or foot drop.
recoveriX complements physical and occupational therapy with the chance of a faster and more successful recovery. It can be used in acute, subacute or chronic conditions - even 10, 20 or 30 years after the MS diagnosis or stroke!

Neurological diseases such as stroke and multiple sclerosis (MS) can have serious effects on patients, including paralysis and speech disorders that significantly limit their quality of life. Most treatments for multiple sclerosis often aim to slow the progression of the disease, which can leave patients unable to walk and confined to a wheelchair.
However, there is hope for stroke and MS patients as recoveriX is the world's first BCI-based treatment for stroke and multiple sclerosis patients. This neurotechnology trains the impaired upper and lower limbs, leading to significant improvements in mobility, gait, balance and movement control.
RECONNECT YOUR BRAIN
Increase neuroplasticity
recoveriX is a unique rehabilitation approach based on brain-computer interface technology that helps the brain rewire itself. While tasked with imagining a hand or foot movement, recoveriX provides real-time feedback through muscle stimulation and visual simulation. recoveriX has no negative side effects because it uses only small sensors to measure the brain and small and harmless currents to stimulate the muscles, and it is long-lasting.
1500 MINUTES OF RECOVERIX TRAINING
Regain your mobility
The recoveriX neurorehabilitation consists of 25-30 training sessions and can be performed once or twice a day. By repeating this process 6,000 times for stroke patients and 8,000 times for MS patients, the brain's neuroplasticity and the linking of these activities begin to form new neurological connections that allow patients to regain the use of their limbs. This exercise is equivalent to a child learning to walk.
OPTIMIZE UPPER AND LOWER LIMBS
Improvement of motor
functions
The recoveriX neurorehabilitation after stroke and multiple sclerosis is a medically certified product. Significant improvements can be observed in gross and fine motor skills, the musculoskeletal system and muscle tremors, among other things. Spasticity, sensitivity, memory, concentration, gait, walking endurance and fatigue improve considerably after the recoveriX neurorehabilitation. The recoveriX treatment is currently offered in 14 countries.
recoveriX is a unique combination of 7 therapies
A fusion of seven standard therapy approaches
A neurological disorder can affect your ability to move, but it may not affect your ability to imagine movement! Imagine a hand or foot movement - the idea triggers almost the same activity in the brain as a real hand or foot movement. This is exactly what "recoveriX" uses for your therapy! With three different types of neurofeedback, recoveriX improves your chances of successful therapy.
